I am Amri, just love anything to do with music and masti. Insanely passionate about bollywood movies and music, Sholay being my all time favorite, as much that it won me nicknames like 'Cinamchi', 'Chalte Phirte Sholay', 'Lyric detector' and such.
Have been among the lead singers in two music bands back home.
Few years ago, when a friend asked to help with bollywood music at an ethnic wedding, I spun a few tracks and haven't looked back since then.
I bury my head into a computer monitor during eastern DST, acting as an IT manager in a bank and have a total scene change in the weekends spinning music.
I speak and understand a handful - English, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and very little of Gujrati.
That was probably enough of blah 'bout me!!!

Meet hero, yeh hai toh sab kuch hai.
A singer himself, trained in classical music, Sugam Sangeet through school and college life. Won many singing competetions back home, has been an element of pride for his mother and the family. Sings karaoke with me too, but I have to really beg! Bohat style maarta hai! We hold on to Indian pop dearly.
An IT manager in the insurance arena, hangs out mostly with music and me,
(Bechara, shaadi karke phas gaya!!). Keeps Smooth Jazz close to heart, anything for Boney James, Brian Culbertson, Dave Koz.... !!

My good friend and Guru Mike, otherwise called as Gleek.
He has been a DJ for the past 12 years,
DJ's at Indian events 'n' rocks to Indian music like a total punjabi,
nick named "Diljit" by me!!!
And if you are wondering, that's his Mann Preet A.K.A Beth, right there next to him.

Mike has been to India, lived there, loves Indian food and culture, gives me a serious complex sometimes. He has seen so many Indian films, sometimes gets ahead of me in keeping up with the latest Indian music. Pretty cool, ey!
A computer techie in the daylight, fully equipped with top notch gear
and specializes in setting the dance floor ablaze with his tunes.
We DJ together for some events, it just rocks!

Sachin, an absolute desi by heart, 'chai' makes wonders for him, rocks dhol like never seen elsewhere, and also the most techie DJ among all of us. Anything hip 'N' happening in the DJ scene, he is the numero Uno to know. He not only drives crowd crazy on the dance floor with his never stopping beats, but also steers everyone insane with his live dhol mix.
Apparently Michigan was wayyyyy too much fun with us so, he moved to Chicago. Grrrrrrrr!!! I ANGRY !!! Grammar intended. Now he takes care of all the Chicago gigs.
He chews on accounts and numbers for a living and bounces dance floors on the weekends. It is a total feast to watch him spin and tease the crowd with his tidbit mixing.
